The SGAE Foundation and the Spanish Association of Symphony Orchestras (AEOS), through an agreement signed by both organizations, have established a system of incentives for the creation of symphonic works with the aim of stimulating and supporting the creativity of SGAE associated authors. This initiative constitutes a parallel action to the commissions made by the Spanish orchestras with the purpose of increasing the contemporary Spanish symphonic repertoire.

This program, launched in 2006, has enabled the creation of 130 new works.
